After the donation in Dodowa, the Awuraposh Team proceeded to Otoase, a village situated about 20km north-west of Nsawam and 60km form Accra to donate to another children’s home called Sweet Honey Orphanage. Making donation of rice, clothings, water, drinks, sugar and some other food items, the leader of the team Portia Asomani expressed sadness considering how deprived and wanting the home looks. She promised to do more to make life bearable for the children.

On the 27th April, 2023, the team from Awuraposh Foundation traveled to Dodowa in the Eastern Region to donate to The Potter’s Village. The Potter’s Village is a children’s home with about 120 inhabitants, caregivers excluded. The Team from Awuraposh Foundation led by the founder and co-founder, Portia Asomani and Gideon Akuo-ko, presented items such as bags of rice, clothes, water, drinks, tissue, sugar, cooking oil, gari (grated cassava) among others to the stuff for the running of the Children’s home. The excited stuff and children expressed their gratitude and presented the foundation with a Certificate of Honor.

As part of the projects earmarked for 30th November, 2021, the team after successfully concluding the Bombila project advanced to Sagnerigu to make some donations to number of pre-selected households. Every beneficiary household received a bag containing a bag of 5kg rice, cooking oil, 2 sphagettis and bags of sachet water. We Awuraposh Foundation strive to extend hope and provide for some deprived housholds in deprived communities in Ghana by providing them with some of these food stuff.

Our mission is to inspire Hope.

As part of our “Together We Stand” initiative, Awuraposh Foundation on the 30th of November 2021 donated schooling materials in Bombila. The Managing Director, Gideon Osei Akuo, lead into the village to make this donation. The school had been preinformed of the event so they gathered the students to receive the team. The materials were donated to about 80 students with each student recieving a school uniform, 3 exercise books and pencils.

Thanks to our generous directors, the Bombila project was a success.

On the 7th of September, 2021 Awuaraposh Foundation visited a village in Shai Osudoku to extend love to the aged in the community. An advance team was sent before this faithful day to search and select old but dejected individuals we can extend love to. A total of 45 candidates were selected and assembled and when the team arrived led by the MD, Gideon Osei Akuo-ko, food items packaged in Awuraposh Foundation branded bags were distributed to them. Each beneficiary recieved a bag of rice, cooking oil, spaghetti and an envelop of cash.

The beneficiaries were happy and full of praises for the our teams intervention.
